These potholders are crocheted with 4 ply cotton yarn and are made using all single crochet. You start by making a chain 8" long ( I used a G hook) and the crocheting each row in single crochet until the piece is 8" x 8 inches. Then you single crochet all around doing 3 in the corners. I chose to use two different yarns, but they could be the same colors. These potholders are nice and thick and completely washable.
